FAQ
WHAT AREA DO YOU SERVE?
Primarily the metro Salt Lake area, but I'm willing to travel to any location! Of course fuel and travel fees will apply for properties outside of my standard service area.
HOW DO I PREPARE MY PROPERTY FOR PHOTOS?
Clean and decluttered spaces will yield the best result. I've created a checklist to follow to help guide you through the preparation process!
WHY ARE YOUR SHORT TERM RENTAL PRICES HIGHER THAN YOURÂ REAL ESTATE PRICES?
Unless otherwise specified, artists and content creators ultimately own the product they create.
When you pay for a photoshoot, I am licensing these images to you to be used in a certain way.
Real estate photos are used strictly for the purposes of selling a property. In most cases these photos will be used for short period of time.
Short term rental photos will be potentially used for years on end. These images are licensed specifically to the host of that property at the time of the photo shoot.
The higher cost covers a longer license.
Images licensed for real estate that are used to promote a short term rental is considered copyright infringement.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
In order to ensure that I am on time for all appointments, properties that are not ready for photos at the time of the appointment will be rescheduled for a later date and issued a $50 travel fee. No-show or cancellation at the time of appointment after arrival (cancellation at doorstep) will be issued a $165 fee

No cancellation fee will be assessed if:
The appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
The appointment is cancelled due to active precipitation.
WHAT AREA DO YOU SERVE?
I am based out of Cottonwood Heights, UT and serve a 30 mile radius with no travel fee (see map below). Properties outside the 30 mile service area will have a travel fee. The fee varies based on distance and time on the road. If you'd like to discuss travel fees, please contact me directly.
HOW DO I PAY YOU?
I generally do all my invoicing through square. An invoice will be sent to your email at the same time your appointment is confirmed. I also accept cash and personal check on the day of the photoshoot.
WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL TURN AROUND TIME?
Photos are delivered next day! My goal is to deliver your gallery before noon!
DO YOU RETAIN THE COPYRIGHT TO YOUR VIDEOS OR PHOTOS?
I retain the copyrights of all images I take as is standard practice in the photography industry. You purchase a single use, non-transferable, non-exclusive image license. That image license is good for the duration of your listing and expires once the listing is sold, canceled or reassigned to another agent. Although the photos may not be sold , given or loaned to any other party by the licensee you do have wide leverage to use them for all marketing and promotion of the home as you work to sell it. This license is non-exclusive, meaning the copyright holder may sell multiple licenses for the same images. Any use of these photos, i.e., magazine publication, website publication, sharing on social media, must be approved by me and credit must be posted in close proximity to the photo(s). IMPORTANT: Do not forward the message with the links to your files and the invoice to your clients. Feel free to share the link to the gallery on my website, but the raw files are not to be given away.
DO YOU HAVE ACCESS TO SUPRA LOCK BOXES?
Yes I do! I am an affiliate member of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors and have access to Supra Lockboxes! No need to waste your time to meet me for photos on a vacant property!
DO YOU HAVE YOUR FAA DRONE LICENSE?
Yes! I am a part 107 commercial drone operator and a part 91 airplane private pilot!
CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP THAT?
The answer is "maybe". Every image I take is processed through photoshop prior to delivery. I review every image twice before it's finalized and delivered to you. Small adjustments are made to make sure your images look their best. Photoshop is a powerful tool that is helpful, but it is not a miracle worker. In order to ensure your images (and others) are delivered on time, I am unable to accept time consuming and greatly invasive edit requests. For legal reasons, I do not accept edit requests that falsify the current state of the property being photographed. (fixing cracked driveway, editing out powerlines, etc)
